Are you a student or an academic with a vision for the creative industries? We invite you to apply for the C-Accelerate Incubator, taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia in Summer 2026.

This program is designed to support entrepreneurial and creative skill development through mentorship, workshops, and networking with experienced industry practitioners.

Program Overview

The C-Accelerate incubator is open to early-stage projects and focuses on two distinct tracks: the Startup Module and the Film & TV Module.

Selected teams will receive:

• Mentorship tailored to your specific project needs.
• Workshops and masterclasses on soft skills, leadership, and business thinking.
• Pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings with industry experts.
• Financial support for travel and accommodation (see details below).

Choose Your Track

1. Startup Module (7 Projects)

Focus: Innovation within the creative industry, including ideas, products, services (e.g., AV tools, platforms), interactive solutions, games, or educational applications.

• Mentorship Areas: Business soft skills, pitching, sales, marketing, branding, distribution strategies, and intellectual property rights.
• Schedule:
  • Online Sessions: 29 June – 3 July 2026
  • On-Site (Bratislava): 13 July – 31 July 2026

2. Film & TV Module (7 Projects)

Focus: Early-stage development for film and television works, including feature films (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental) and TV/Online series of all genres.

• Mentorship Areas: Creative development, production development, financing and co-production models, international pitching, distribution, and marketing.
• Schedule:
  • Online Sessions: 29 June – 3 July 2026
  • On-Site (Bratislava): 2 August – 21 August 2026

Key Details

Who Can Apply?

• Status: Current Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students, as well as academic staff at C-Accelerate+ partner institutions.
• Attendance: One representative from each selected project must be present in Bratislava for the entire duration of the module.
• Language: The entire program will be conducted in English.

Financial Support

• Program Fee: Participation is free of charge.
• Coverage: For each selected project, one representative will receive reimbursement covering travel costs and accommodation in Bratislava.
• Team Members: Additional team members are welcome to attend but must do so at their own expense.

Location

All on-site activities will be hosted at the Film and Television Faculty, Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU).

Selection Process

The selection committee will choose a final lineup of 14 projects (7 per module) based on the following criteria:

1. Originality and clarity of concept.
2. Capacity for further development.
3. Suitability for the incubator.
4. Commitment and motivation of the applicant.
5. Market potential.
